You Will Always be My Christmas Star

Merry Christmas! :)

Bukod kay Bro…

You will always be my crazy little Orange Stars!

Christmas Party and Paul Wesley

What is so cool about receiving gifts? Getting the gifts that you always wanted. :)

Last night, we had our Christmas Party/Childrens' party at Mcdonalds. It was one of the coolest parties I've ever attended. Having kids at a party really change your mood, their little antics and sweet nothings will really warm your heart. My supervisor's child and I had a photo at a Christmas tree and you know what he did? He hid behind my legs and grasp my pants, haha... It made me like whoa! :)

Thanks Mommy Dory for the awesome gift! You just don't know how much I appreciate.

Moving back to the gift. Remember the book that I was having a hard time finding? Guess what, I already had it.

Yipee! It really made my night. I can't even wait to finish this post and read it right away. Haha. Just a trivia about the book. It was made into a series. I remember watching it one Holy week, here is the lead, his name is Paul Wesley.

Isn't he hot or what? Haha.

Short post muna, gotta read the book na.

Good morning. :)

Thanks Ayla!

It all started with a plan. I joined. I met my partner. Then, I received my gift!

Ayla and I met a while ago at Moonleaf. I tagged along my friend, Dale, in case I will get lost at Teacher’s Village. I was really nervous meeting my partner and having Dale with me really helped me a lot.

I really get tense when meeting new people. Sometimes, I really turn out shy. Most of the times, I tend to be quiet, and let the other person do most of the talking.

Good thing, Ayla was really nice to both of us. She shared a lot of things and Dale and I really learned a lot from her. She also ask questions that really made me talk a lot. She made the two of us comfortable. Pasensiya na if we get distracted most of the time, andami kasing cute sa Moonleaf kanina! Haha!

Thanks Ayla for the fancy orange neck tie, I love it a lot. Salamat din for introducing us to a new tambayan. Sa uulitin ha, sa Moonleaf ulet.

Thanks PM for the awesome idea. I really had fun. Next year ulet… Meet din tayo ha. :)

Wishlist 2011

On Friday, our Department’s Christmas party will take place. It will be more of a Children’s party because my officemate’s children will be there. Venue will be at McDonalds, complete with the program and games, the normal stuff that you get when you get a Children’s Party Package from them. My officemates are crazy. Haha! But, it sounds fun.

Christmas party will not be complete without exchange gifts. One of my officemates created a new system where we will have code names, haha, last year kasi pangalan lang. Disney Characters. Since I was late in sending my code name, the event organizer/officemate in charge of the party chose a name for me. Captain Hook! Bang! If I have to choose my name, I’d prefer Cruella Devil. Haha!

Enter, Department’s Christmas Party Wishlist!

Don’t worry, I will not ask for something orange. I know my officemates, and since we’re close, I really looked for stuff that will give them a hard time. And here they are.

First One, The Fallen and Leviathan by Thomas E. Sniegoski. I was really having a hard time finding this book. I already looked at all Book Store possible however they only have book 2 and book 3. I specifically emphasized on my list that if they will not get Book 1, never get Book 2 or Book 3. Demanding much, haha. You will not be able to ready book 2 and book 3 without reading book 1.

Second, The Witch of Portobello by Paulo Coelho. I think this is the only novel of Paulo Coelho that I haven’t read. So, why not have my office mate pay for it, right?

Last, Halo by Alexandra Adornetto. The book cover looks interesting, and basing it on how the cover looks, for sure it will talk about Angels falling in love with Humans.

Price of the gift should be more than PHP 300.00! Goodluck nalang sa nakabunot sa kin. :)

Christmas Party!

Last night was our Christmas Party. It was held on the same building where I am working. I am really not into parties, but since I really don’t have much to do last night, why not try attending?

The Good Stuff

Food was good! Hahaha. What we ate last night, were stuff I am not familiar with. They have beef something, chicken something, pasta with Italian sausage on it, and a lot of other good stuff I don’t even have any idea with. Haha. We also had Lechon and B-B-Q that were superb!

Venue was nice. Since it was held on a hotel, its expected. However something make the whole place so cozy and grand. Tables were set with Christmas Decors, maraming Christmas balls.

Our Department won First Place. Haha. Merry na ang Christmas Party, wala ng ambagan ng 350. :)

The Bad Stuff

There were really two things that irritated me last night, first was the service of the Hotel, and next will be the Photo Booth.

If you have good food, you will expect that good drinks will be serve, right? However, last night, I already finished my plate and no Iced Tea were served. Water was also scarce. I have to even ask three different waiters just to have a glass, tsk tsk.

Photo booth were rented by the company for three hours, I guess. They started at around four in the afternoon. What time were we on the venue, 6:30! Pak! The photo shoot guy were really rushing and asking us to hurry up. Even the employee who were in charge said that “it was the prize of being late.”  Well, we were not late, I was aware that the party will start at six, and my office mates still have duty that day.

Hence, I had fun last night. It always nice being with people that you work with in a different environment – without the stress, the deadlines, and the small cat fights that you either have on emails or on the phone. :)  It’s always fun having fun, especially with the people that you both hate and love. :)

Merry Christmas every one.

Christmas Na!

Papa Jack is already playing Christmas Songs -- The kind of songs that will make you sad about Christmas, who wants to listen to Sana Ngayong Pasko, right? But yeah, Christmas also has a heart warming magic on it that will make you smile though how depressing the music is.

Christmas has always been the time of the year where I start to reflect on all the things that happened to me in the past year. Every December, I try to remember all the things that I’ve learned, lost, accomplished and succeeded on while I concentrate on all the things where I also failed. Christmas has always been good to me. I will always love the season of giving.

Our office is now decorated. There are several Christmas tree in the reception and the office of our bosses, garlands with red Christmas balls draped behind my station, and my officemates also started displaying their blinking Christmas tree on their desktops.

Since our building is located in a hotel, the decorations are grand. On the reception of our building, there are three Christmas tree in three sizes, small, medium and of course large. They placed it in a way that it creates an illusion that it is a big Christmas tree from a far. Beside is a house that is made of bread and cake icings. The aroma of cinnamon is everywhere the moment you enter the building. It’s sweet and delicious. I love it.

I am still not ready for Christmas. I haven’t even written my Christmas list, well, I am not used to writing lists. Because all these years, I am so used to the people I am celebrating Christmas with. They are the same people that I am giving gifts every time the season came – my family, god children, some friends, and some of my relatives, they always get something from me. But this year, I think I need to create a list. As I grow older, but not that wiser, I’m starting to realize that there are more people who needs to receive something from me. If all else fails, I will just send them a message saying “Merry Christmas.” It’s the thought that counts, right? Haha!

Christmas is already here. Are you guys ready for it? If not, you are not alone. Let us enjoy the rush together.

Merry Christmas!
