Merry Christmas from The Orange Wit!

I noticed that my last post was about all my office rants. Embarrassing! Thankfully, it got sorted out three days after my supervisor started bullying me and my new officemate.

Lately, I have nothing interesting to write about. Most of the time, I am too lazy to even open my blogger account. I guess it happens to everyone so like Olivia Culpo who won Ms. Universe, I have no regrets. :D

I’ll be spending my Christmas Eve at the office. Boo! But I’ve been doing it for the past seven years so I can’t complaint at all. Before everything gets mayhem tomorrow, let me greet everyone a Merry Christmas! May all your heart’s desires be granted and may this season bring you a happier vibe!

You are all awesome! Also, this is my 300th post. Yey! Who would have thought? :D

Happy Holidays! :D

All I Want For Christmas Year 3!

Definitely, there is no stopping Christmas!

A year ago, I joined this cool activity where bloggers exchange gifts. It sounds out of this world. At first, I never even thought that it may happen, but it did. Who would have thought that I will meet my amazing blogger friends with the activity?

To continue the tradition, PM started another exchange gift activity. Yey! It is more meaningful this time because PM and I were already talking about it on Skype. Yes, we are excited. We already discussed who we can drag into the activity. And yes, since it’s been a year, probably we can have more people join the activity.

How does it work?

Okay, I will just tell you what I did last year. First you have to create a post where you will share your wish list. It is called the All I Want For Christmas post. Make sure your list is doable, minimum amount is PHP 200. After making your post, visit PM’s post here, and leave a comment. This will help her collect the names of the people who are interested to join.

On November 30, PM will post on her blog the pairs. Then the partners exchange gifts, you can send your gifts via mail, or you can meet your partner just like what Ayla and I did a year ago. If the instructions are still not clear, you can always check the mechanics on PM’s page.

The activity is really fun. Reading all the wish lists, knowing who is your partner and getting your gifts makes me more excited about the whole activity.

To my blogger friends, I am seriously hoping that you can join us this year. This is really a cool meet new people and gain more blogger friends. I can always testify to that. So please, please, pretty please, join us this year! It will make the spirit of giving more exciting.

Here’s my wish list. To my future partner, please be very good to me. Kidding.

Something small: Naruto Key Chains

Something big: A Big Orange Bag Pack:

Something cute: Akatzuki Mug

Something soft: Pillows will do.

Something techie: Flash drive.

Something fancy: Man, this is tough. Okay, Olay Total Effects facial wash. :D

Something (Orange):  Zen Zest Linen Sprays (The bottles are orange).

 Something wearable: Keffiyeh Scarf!

Something you need: I know I need a lot of things but I cannot think of one now. Damn! Okay, alarm clock!

Something you can use for work: Coasters. Don’t ask why. LOLS

Something sweet: Reese’s!

All I (really, really) Want for Christmas is: I lost my Power of Six book, oh well. That is what I really really want!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Sweet Dreams

Title from Beyonce

The Supermarket is an hour and a half away from where we live in the province. It is always tedious going there. My mom and I were shopping for leche flan, a favorite during Christmas. Our family love all things sweet.

I placed five condensed milk on our basket, my mom then looked at the price and said, Ay, mas mura dun sa suke ko sa palengke, doon nalang tayo bumili.

I returned the milk on the cabinet. We then went to the aisle were the sugar can be find. My mom got it this time, checked the price, and said ay, dun narin tayo bumili nito sa palengke, mas mura doon. All I can say was okay.

I then picked the Cream that we will need for the Buko Salad. My mom checked again the price and when she was about to say something, I interrupted her. Haha!

All I can say is, Tara na nga! We left the supermarket buying nothing. :)

My mom really has creative ways of getting into my nerves, but she also has wonderful ways of making me smile. I think I got my impulsiveness and weirdness from my mother and I am really proud of that. :)

Mothers really have the best job in the world. Too bad, I will never be one. Hahaha!

Happy Mother’s Day to your Mom!

Prinsesa’s Anatomy

Last December, I remember joining this blogger exchange gift. It was one of the most memorable thing that I’ve done last year. Meeting a fellow blogger for the first time and being able to get a cool orange tie is really superb.

Aside from that, because of the exchange gift, I get to know PM.

 1

PM is really a good writer. Her blog is really one of my favorites. Since our gift giving activity, I always make it a point to check her page and read all her recent posts. PM influenced me a lot, from creating a Bucket List, up to making sure that I will get a copy of the book she read, there was also a time where I want to study baking because I want to create my own version of No Baked Lemon Pie, where I will use oranges of course.

She just don’t write well, she always make sure that you are always welcome on her blog. It really means a lot to me when I comment on something, the blogger will even take time to reply on a comment. PM never fails, I always see her blog comments in sky rocketing numbers because aside from the fact that a lot of people read her stuff, she always replies on comments.

PM is also a reader of my blog which makes me feel conscious and nervous sometimes. Knowing how good a writer she is and how so so my posts can get, I should be very thankful because of her presence on my page.

Well, PM always knows how much I appreciate her. From the comments to my blog to her replies on my comments, PM will always be someone that I really look up to.

Its nice knowing that someone who has a post on a newspaper, who will take care of her boy friend in the hospital for week and who reads as fast as I am (I think) can seems to be so near, so accommodating, and be so humble. She rocks!

I am writing this because of PM's contest, she is celebrating her blog’s fourth year anniversary. I have no plans of indulging her, but knowing her and her blog makes me more honest with what I have said. PM will always deserves the praise and the attention that she is getting because she is not just a great blogger…

PM IS ALSO A GOOD FRIEND.

Thank you for being so nice to me, PM.

So for your Anniversary, pagpasensiyahan mo na ang post ko, ha? Alam kong di ka pa makakacomment, teehee…

Also, as a gift, The World’s Cutest Kitten! Un sabi sa video. Enjoy!

Happy New Year

Okay, Quick post. :)

I have shift on New Year's eve and I cannot afford going to work without even greeting everybody a Happy New Year! I haven't posted enough so I won't be able to make a review of my blog for the past year, maybe next year, I will give a recap of how my year went. I already have a scheduled post, it will be published later at exactly 12:01 am.

A New Year is always about new beginnings. Let's all make use of it to influence others - for the better.

My goal next year is really to correct all the things I've done in the past, to achieve greater things, to make new friends, and to influence others. What yours?

With that being said,

PUTUKAN NA! Haha.

Christmas Party and Paul Wesley

What is so cool about receiving gifts? Getting the gifts that you always wanted. :)

Last night, we had our Christmas Party/Childrens' party at Mcdonalds. It was one of the coolest parties I've ever attended. Having kids at a party really change your mood, their little antics and sweet nothings will really warm your heart. My supervisor's child and I had a photo at a Christmas tree and you know what he did? He hid behind my legs and grasp my pants, haha... It made me like whoa! :)

Thanks Mommy Dory for the awesome gift! You just don't know how much I appreciate.

Moving back to the gift. Remember the book that I was having a hard time finding? Guess what, I already had it.

Yipee! It really made my night. I can't even wait to finish this post and read it right away. Haha. Just a trivia about the book. It was made into a series. I remember watching it one Holy week, here is the lead, his name is Paul Wesley.

Isn't he hot or what? Haha.

Short post muna, gotta read the book na.

Good morning. :)

Christmas Party!

Last night was our Christmas Party. It was held on the same building where I am working. I am really not into parties, but since I really don’t have much to do last night, why not try attending?

The Good Stuff

Food was good! Hahaha. What we ate last night, were stuff I am not familiar with. They have beef something, chicken something, pasta with Italian sausage on it, and a lot of other good stuff I don’t even have any idea with. Haha. We also had Lechon and B-B-Q that were superb!

Venue was nice. Since it was held on a hotel, its expected. However something make the whole place so cozy and grand. Tables were set with Christmas Decors, maraming Christmas balls.

Our Department won First Place. Haha. Merry na ang Christmas Party, wala ng ambagan ng 350. :)

The Bad Stuff

There were really two things that irritated me last night, first was the service of the Hotel, and next will be the Photo Booth.

If you have good food, you will expect that good drinks will be serve, right? However, last night, I already finished my plate and no Iced Tea were served. Water was also scarce. I have to even ask three different waiters just to have a glass, tsk tsk.

Photo booth were rented by the company for three hours, I guess. They started at around four in the afternoon. What time were we on the venue, 6:30! Pak! The photo shoot guy were really rushing and asking us to hurry up. Even the employee who were in charge said that “it was the prize of being late.”  Well, we were not late, I was aware that the party will start at six, and my office mates still have duty that day.

Hence, I had fun last night. It always nice being with people that you work with in a different environment – without the stress, the deadlines, and the small cat fights that you either have on emails or on the phone. :)  It’s always fun having fun, especially with the people that you both hate and love. :)

Merry Christmas every one.

Christmas Na!

Papa Jack is already playing Christmas Songs -- The kind of songs that will make you sad about Christmas, who wants to listen to Sana Ngayong Pasko, right? But yeah, Christmas also has a heart warming magic on it that will make you smile though how depressing the music is.

Christmas has always been the time of the year where I start to reflect on all the things that happened to me in the past year. Every December, I try to remember all the things that I’ve learned, lost, accomplished and succeeded on while I concentrate on all the things where I also failed. Christmas has always been good to me. I will always love the season of giving.

Our office is now decorated. There are several Christmas tree in the reception and the office of our bosses, garlands with red Christmas balls draped behind my station, and my officemates also started displaying their blinking Christmas tree on their desktops.

Since our building is located in a hotel, the decorations are grand. On the reception of our building, there are three Christmas tree in three sizes, small, medium and of course large. They placed it in a way that it creates an illusion that it is a big Christmas tree from a far. Beside is a house that is made of bread and cake icings. The aroma of cinnamon is everywhere the moment you enter the building. It’s sweet and delicious. I love it.

I am still not ready for Christmas. I haven’t even written my Christmas list, well, I am not used to writing lists. Because all these years, I am so used to the people I am celebrating Christmas with. They are the same people that I am giving gifts every time the season came – my family, god children, some friends, and some of my relatives, they always get something from me. But this year, I think I need to create a list. As I grow older, but not that wiser, I’m starting to realize that there are more people who needs to receive something from me. If all else fails, I will just send them a message saying “Merry Christmas.” It’s the thought that counts, right? Haha!

Christmas is already here. Are you guys ready for it? If not, you are not alone. Let us enjoy the rush together.

Merry Christmas!

Marami Salamat! Kayo na talaga… Maraming salamat sa pagtiyatiyaga at pagpapasensiya.

Sa lahat ng gurong nagbabasa nito, saludo ako sa inyo! Namnamin niyo ang araw na ito! Happy Teachers’ Day!
